CA 1010 Power Up Issue

I have a CA 1010 that I had refreshed several years ago for a burnt out light and static issues. I've only used it maybe 10 times since then the last time about 6 months ago. I switched it on the other day and after the delay it clicked like it usually does when it powers on but then continues to click ever 2 seconds and doesn't work. I won't be taking it apart, just wondered what was going on and if anyone ever heard of this?

Power supply solder connections would be my first suspect.Or dried up electrolytic cap(s) in the power supply for the protect circuit.

May also be a weak protection transistor- needs work.

I had similar issues with the 2010 was the protection transistor and the static was due to the 2sc1775 on tone board when replaced all good
