Casablanca 75th Anniversary at the Theater

    One of the wife's and mine favorite movies. Saw it last weekend at the theater. Even better on the big screen. Go see it if you have the chance.

    Fabulous movie. I've it on DVD and must have watched it 50 times. Though I disagree with the political undertone "Citizen of the World" rubbish, it is a fabulous movie...

    Was watching the local news last night and NBC-WRC-TV4 did a story on Culpepper VA
    (small town of 18,000 about 70 miles from DC), and I saw "Casablanca" displayed on their local theatre marquee ...
    Guess everyone must be doing a revival of this classic

    Emma gave me a Bluray copy for Christmas a couple years back ...

    I last saw CB in 2010 at the restored Fox Theater in Redlands, it’s now an “Event Center” where you eat a meal before the film, and by film I mean of course a digital projector and a modest sized screen, still a nice social experience.[/QUOTE]
