Cassette Tape bias Question

I want to make tapes for playback in a deck that does not have a metal bias option. The record deck does. Is it worth making the metal tapes? Would they sound any better in the playback deck or should I just use type 2?

Playback in a non-metal deck is not a problem, as the EQ needed is the same as any other high-bias tape.

...and I always liked the lower distortion and extended response of metal tape. They should indeed sound better.
