    Hi all,

I have a pair of Celestion SL-6 Speakers, and I'm thinking of changing
the Caps in my speakers, right now they have the original electrolytic's
you know those blue ones made by Alcap. so I want to get better ones
in there, what do you guy's think? :scratch2:

Personally, I wouldn't use Solens, as they would add a bit too much zing to those wonderfully smooth tweeters. Dayton(Bennic) are a more reasonably-priced alternative and should compliment the high-end smoothness of your speakers. My friend has a couple pair of the 6's and won't sell me one pair, darn it! Some people are just greedy.

If had some SL6's I'd want a second pair for spare parts too:D

I have used Solens, Bennics, Daytons, and Claritycaps. The Claritycap SA are my favorite out of that group.

The SL6's are VERY revealing speakers!
    I think I'd go top-shelf on caps.
The Claritycap SA series are awesome performers, IMO.

So, what kind of cap is the best for SL6? Solen, ClarityCap, Mundorf , Bennic or Jantzen.
