Driving from Rifle CO Tuesday morning on I-70, I hit Vail Pass and encountered this:
As my route took me on CO-9, I decided to stop at Breckenridge for lunch at The Lost Cajun (had chicken gumbo). A quick walk through downtown:
Had to travel Hoosier Pass on CO-9 after lunch, and...
And this was after being in mid 80s in Death Valley on Sunday!
5:30 PM rush hour.
Jeff Koons 8 million dollar Piglet.
This town has a dubious distinction. (Notice I didn't say doobie-ous. )
On my morning walk................
I wish I lived in the mountains, one day, in the meantime this is all I get.
Same here. Or at least in the Southwest somewhere, where my favorite places are maybe a 4-5 hour drive in any direction. (That's our goal in the next 3-4 years.)
I mean, how can you beat this view just driving along Interstate 70? Both are while I was heading eastbound from I-15 to Rifle CO.
What's my freeway scenery? Cracked pavement, construction barrels, and garbage strewn on either side. This is a filthy, dirty state, and I'm tired of living in it.
At work tonight, Party!
Anyone wanna buy some clouds made out of pepto-bismol
I went up to wyandotte county lake today. I always try to get around the lake twice a year (spring/fall).
is that a fire engine pump ?
Yes. Trashed, but pretty cool.
once owned a fire engine .pump was on the rear as they generally are here . dodge with a rather big engine v12 i think . lifted the cab to look at it and thought that looks nice then dropped the cab ..
Took this at a Japanese themed park last week while in Portland.
Here's a CCT TV Camera that caught something
