The mid and tweet in a separate enclosure? A pair with that monster bass unit?
There are several various "320" to "320 xx" systems that are listed in Orion.

Thats correct bully :thmbsp: , but where to find more about the system ?

Here is some info I had on it. The bottom of the second scan goes into a little detail on the "system"....

Crotalus - its a little like Christmas reading your old CV scans - I thought I knew their product line, but here is a whole new group of speakers! It is just sad that they became what they are today - they were an amazing speaker company - a long, long time ago, in a different era.

Any more scans of the other speakers on the first photo? like design of the 320s or the 432R - whoa - what is that??!! - the 211R is a large speaker yet it looks like a bookshelf spk compared to the 432R - anything really. Also anything on the 15T (just picked up a mint pair of these!) - I have some old interesting CV pro stuff I can scan for you as well.

CV 320 configurations

Reviewing some threads on Cerwin Vega, I came across this one on the 320 system. There's one 320 config not listed in the brochure and that's the 320D system which was the MT unit with its 12" driver, horn and 2 dhorms, and its bass commode had an 18" CV driver. I talked to Gene Czerwinski at audio shows in Washington, DC in 1975 and in San Francisco 1977. The 320D system was at both shows if I recall. It was great to have a chance to talk with the proprietor of Cerwin Vega. He drove the systems with his own amplifier, the A-3000I, 365 watts/channel at 8 ohms (hopefully I recalled the impedance correctly). The 320D/320MT system was an amazing system. I took a friend with me to the show in DC at the Washington Hilton. As we walked down the hall, you could feel it. As we got about 15 feet from the door, someone opened the door to leave the room. The effect was visceral. Such an amazing experience for a home system in 1975. The only other system comparable with it was the Klipschorn, an all horn system.

I couldn't afford a 320D/320MT system at that time, so I bought a 211 system which was a 12" and dhorm. I considered the 211R (same as the 211 with a reflecting (rear-firing) HF-91 horn mounted in the top-rear of the cab) and a 217R which was the same as the 211R only with a 15" driver vice 12". I later sold the 211's and have always regretted doing so. Unfortunately, I don't have any CV literature from that era. Its all kinda floated away with many moves over the years. Thanks Crotalus for posting that brochure. Its nice to see it again.

Since the likelihood of finding a system in decent condition is slim to nil, I'm going designing a system that will hopefully be comparable to the 320D/320MT system. I have the drivers except for the 12" midbass driver for the MT cab. I have yet to decide which driver to use. The MT will have a passive crossover and then the MT and bass commode will be biamp'd. You were very fortunate PIOBYTE to find an intact system. Do you still have it? How do you like it?

The 12" mid bass driver is a ER-124.

I have the MT320 unit with its 12" driver, horn and 2 dhorms - it uses an ER-123 (stamped frame - 13 lb magnet, 17,800 guass) 12" mid driver.

125-20 khz (+/- 3.5db)
128db @ 4 ft
125hz, 1500hz, 4000hx crossover frequencies

I would love images of any current 320 systems. My 320MT had a 12 inch midrange and a single large silver tweeter - I've seen some that had the 12 inch plus 2 smaller black tweeters. I had 2 of the 320 D's which were the 18" Earthquake drivers and the logo badge had Gene's signature in cursive.
Driven by SAE rack with SAE 2400L amp.
