Compare the AU 717 to the AU 7900

I already have the 717 but had the 7900 back in the day and remembering it sounding awsome with just a pair of Advent Walnuts.I have a chance to pick up the 7900 for a decent price.Any concerns or mostly i want all your expert opinions on both and which has the better components inside.Thanks.I am running a pair of Hereseys and/or KG4s with my 717.

The AU-7900 is a nice amplifier, but it won't better a properly adjusted AU-717, all other things being equal.
