This squirrel rests on my old fence like this all the time....first shot I had been working on the roof and came down for lunch. So was shot from inside the house through a window.

Not the best picture, my wife sent me this from her iPhone plus it was shot thru a window in need of cleaning... this little guy has taken up residence in our back yard following part of our fence blowing down earlier in the year:



Still can't identify what species, nor could the vet (she has some other pics she hasn't sent me that are marginally better than this). He likes his lettuce & strawberries though! Little dude covers a surprising amount of ground during the day, too.

Some nice climbs in Kings Canyon...

Yeah, there sure are. I did some great hiking/backpacking while I was there. It was an awesome trip.


Here's a picture of a Great Plains Toad that I caught while I was in Pawnee National Grassland in Colorado last year. Cute little bugger!
