I have a DBX CX 3 pre amp.. It has the ability to run 2 amps , mine are kenwood km-206 , the problem I'm having is when I hook 2 amps to the pre amp , it says to press the surround bypass switch. In doing so you can hardly hear any sound . Switch to matrix and you can hear it but it's mono. Took it to a shop and my guy says he can't find anything wrong with it. I've switched the amps from one set of jacks to the other and no difference . I still think there is something wrong with pre amp Can anyone help ?

No need for speculation--I own a CX-3 and use it as the front end for two BX-3 amps. It is in a secondary system, so I need to look at the settings, and I have the manual (somewhere).
