Dead Sota Sapphire Motor

Eric I went looking for this thread and found it, read post #31, this could be the problem with your friends table.

I left a comment for him here that maybe should be tried before any tech work.

Thank you Dan. He may be able to measure the resistors on his own, but I’ll help out as needed. Thanks for posting this - I didn’t recall this at all, so I never would have found it.
 
Hope to revive this thread. As I am trying to repair my sapphire motor. The wires pried loose from the on/off switch so I resoldered them and I am getting power but the motor is not turning. Plus the bottom screw on motor bearing is dry rotted. Suggestions much appreciated.
