LOL.... hey what's your #
I do. It's kinda fun actually.
If it's somebody selling something, I usually cuss them out and tell them never call again. They usually don't.
That doesn't seem to be the case. The scammer/sales calls have dropped to almost none. The phone barely rings unless it's someone we know. Which is the way it ought to be.I think they have a sucker list to pass on. Call numbers supposedly give them what they need. Any chance you are a permanent name/number because one guy on the other end wants to "reward" you ?
Good to know. Human nature being what it is.That doesn't seem to be the case. The scammer/sales calls have dropped to almost none. The phone barely rings unless it's someone we know. Which is the way it ought to be.
On the rare occasions that I have answered a call I do not recognize, because there was a chance it was someone I needed to speak to, it has turned out to be a telemarketer.
The Do Not Call list needs to be expanded to include non-profits, political calls, and surveys. We also need a way to automatically block all calls that originate from outside the USA.
My advice is do not donate to political organizations or non-profits. It has been my experience that a $25 donation will be spent on repeated requests for additional donations, rather than on accomplishing what the organizations supposedly support.
