The additives I've seen for removing water from gas have contained isopropyl alcohol. Which is slightly less toxic and I think I heard that the antidote administered by medical responders is ethanol! Ethanol to treat isopropanol poisoning. Weird.

I sincerely hope you mean ETHANOL--methanol is "wood alcohol" and a few stiff drinks would put you in the hospital, kill you, or cause permanent blindness.

My favorite tonic is Q tonic. Pricey but doesn't have all the additives of Schweppes, Canada Dry and that ilk. All natural ingredients. I wonder too if these vodkas are wheat based could the headaches be related was gluten reaction. I know Titos claims to be gluten free. May be time to switch or to a decent potato vodka.
