Dual 1229Q bad channel

Eureka!!! There is a black plastic square piece (the insulator?) that holds the PCB. I shifted the PCB about a quarter millimeter to the left in the plastic piece and I AM BACK IN BUSINESS!

Huge thanks to all who helped me with this. Many people contributed useful info. I hope I get the chance one day to pay it forward.

What fickle beasts these beautiful machines can be. I now have three other sleds/holders that may or may not work to diagnose!
 
I was typing and received your new post. This is great news. Gave any hair left, or did you pull it all out?
 
Yes, and it also came in white.
If those hair clubs were not all scams, I would be spending my money on hair. Until they perfect hair farming, it will need to wait.
The p.c. board and insulator should be snug and not shift. I wonder why yours is not like that. The next time a wiring harness comes up on ebay for that arm , grab it.
