No show in history had a worse, "Theme Song" than ST E. I actually like the show until the last episode.... The Next Generation ST ruins everything!

The theme song did not bother me. I enjoyed Enterprise more than any other ST series other than TOS.

    crewmen for the airlock:

    Wesley
    Tasha Yar
The Feringi race. - their back story is the worst in TV script writing.

Agree on Kes and I got the whole Bajoran race to travel. Bunch of put upon losers with their trippy prophets. Bang.
Cisco bugged me too, c'mon stop waffling. If it wasn't for the war DS9 could have sailed off into a plasma storm & no one would have noticed. And his annoying son as well.

I wouldn't space a kid, but Worf's son, Alexander, should have been stranded on an abandoned asteroid, or sent back to the Klingon homeworld of Kronos.

    I skip those episodes.

I did not watch ST: DS9 that much but now recall after reading through these how weak so many of the characters were. I could never get into it. One longtime friend says I just needed to stick around until The Dominion shows up. There are many roadmaps on how to watch it by skipping much of the 1st 2 seasons, that might be the way to go. Apparently it doesn't really start to cook until Ronald Moore (Battlestar Galactica) shows up in the writing credits.

You mean, when DS9 started to copy the B5 'bible' of an arcing story line?

    Babylon 5 - space station

    DS9 - space station

    Worm hole, Jump gates

It's been discussed elsewhere that DS9's poor ratings changed when they introduced a continuing arcing storyline(ie The Dominion), like B5 had from the start.

My favorite of them all is Mark Lenard. Who portrayed Ambassador Sarek, the unnamed Romulan Commander in Balance of Terror S01Ep08 1966, and a brief appearance at the beginning of Star Trek, The Motion Picture (1979) The beginning of ST, TMP with the 3 Klingon war ships, and their destruction was the best part of this whole movie, the rest of which was a complete CGI bloated acting turd.

Balance of Terror easily makes my Top 10 Star Trek faves. It is superb as is the film that inspired it. Agree on Lenard to, the man had gravitas on par with Nimoy.

I found the final closure with Sarek and Spock compelling and moving in the final scene in STNG: Unification part II when Spock mind meld's with Picard (who carried Sarek's buried pride of his son, Spock)

The power of that scene made me weep.

I was thinking the same thing. The swan song of Sarek was one of most powerful performances in science fiction cinema that has ever been.
