Is the last number being different anything of consequence, or is it just a lead length thing? I wouldn't expect different transformers in a stereo amp.
The letter on the end (A/B/C/D or 1/2/3/4) has been postulated to be most likely a lead length thing, considering that the transformers are usually offset from the output tube sockets, one more than the other.
600-T driver transformers also have different numbers. Identical except lead length. One transformer needs leads that go across the entire unit. The other needs to only stretch across half the unit.
Cleaned her up a bit topside while awaiting new bulbs. Got the LED replacement festoon ("fuse") lamps today and they are well made and fit quite well. Warm white color and just about the right amount of light output to make the numbers on the face plate light up nicely. Ready to return to a place of honor in the listening room!
