Fuse value for an old Heathkit amp

hey guys and gals. I have an old Heathkit EA-2 mono integrated I am about to restore. I have a fuse holder to install, what amp fuse do you think would protect things? I’m guessing 2-3 amp?
Thanks!

Good plan on installing a fuse! I can't believe they used to get away with stuff like this; save 25¢ on a fuse and holder, but possibly burn down someones house:dunno:

The power consumption claimed by themanufacturer is 120 Watts, which is always at full rated power. So long as you are staying with the tube rectifier and don't have to factor in the addditional inrush of the filter caps, I would go with a 2 Amp fast-blo fuse.

Yes i was surprised at the lack of a fuse! I looked inside after not seeing one in chassis mount, then i looked up the schematic and no fuse! Crazy.
Thankyou for the advice arts.
