I just want it to sound good
My wife as of late started getting in to audio as its been a hobby of mine for 15 plus years which is as long as we have been together. I recently switched out my older sony es2000 pre amp for a halo p5. Got it hooked up and the wife says she notices a huge different and thinks it sounds much better. As for speakers all I was running was some jamo bookshelfs with a powered sub. While not being audiophile bliss they sounded ok. The wife and I decided we would like to upgrade the speakers and eventually the amp. We were in no rush but as we were out and about yesterday we stopped into my local audio store and like magic walked out with a pair of martin logan ethos. Lets just say we are both smiling ear to ear. Still need to dial in the best placement but so far so good.
