Hafler DH-200 MOSFET info?

Working on a 200 with a bad channel, under dbt Q6 will burn up.
Looking at the outputs on this and seems as if they are replacements.
Looking on the web shows me very little?? Anyone know what 591049 - 7945 is? The compliment is 571134 - 7940. Need a data sheet to test these!

577134 = 2SK134
591049 = 2SJ49
Those are the Hafler part numbers (from the DH200 assembly manual)
The 2 and 3 are for matcjing purposes There are some threads here and at diyaudio.con about jigs for matching.
They are also same as BUZ901/BUZ906 or Exicon ECF10N20/ECF10P20

you might ask AK member Avionic .... he'll probably know.

Never mind - I see someone else chimed in :)

Who is the MOSFET guru hereabouts? Curious about batch matching multiples vs random selection.

Nice to know I can buy replacements! Thanks for the info!!

The replacements can be purchased already matched. Profusion has an "S" version which stands for selected. They're already tested and separated into grades. They can be bought directly through Profusion here.

I recently purchased some 2SJ50 and 2SK135 replacements from Profusion. Good quality lateral FETs.

Well I tested the MOSFETs in my bad channel but they are testing good. Just realized looking at the service manual that these are simply labelled by the part 'number ' instead of the actual part label....

Do you have the original P6 boards? You should try replacing the driver transistors- that revived the DH-200 I have.

Well, when I got this it had a few toasted resistors which I replaced along with q4 and q5... Now q6 gets warm very quick! Need to check more components I think....

There are folks on AK that can help more than I can. Be sure to back off the bias setting, then reset. Evidently the bias pots are known to fail, I should replace mine.

Duh... I read what you posted about the service manual part numbers, but never clued in!

Update, I managed to get that channel back up and running! Changed out some drivers and she's back. Issue now is the overheat orange light is on? Heatsinks are still cold? Anybody know what's going on??
Managed to get the DC offset to 10mv !
I used a method using a 9v battery I found on YouTube for matching my driver sets....

One of your thermal breakers most likely has an issue. ie. thermostat

Oh and while I got you on the phone Avionic, I replaced Q9 ( biasing transistor np2222) with a bc547?
General npn should work here right?
