Halloween Movies for the whole family

It's bizarre enough to fit within the Halloween framework, does have a few scary moments, and unlike any movie you or your kids has ever watched. This is an LSD trip of a film when LSD was still known as lysergic acid. It's The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T and it is a delight (for me at least). A riot of color with psychedelic sets and written by Dr. Seuss. It is so over the top as to be nearly incomprehensible to 1953 (!!!) audiences. I saw it when I was quite young and images stuck with me until I was old enough to track it down. After rewatching it the first time in the late 80s with my wife our first thoughts were "How did this even get made?". It is a gem if you like weird, I do. It's very much G-rated with only a few intense scenes but tempered because they are so fantastical, and it has a great ending.
