My name is Jeremy and I have always had an interest in older stereo equipment. I have taught English in South Korea, run sound and do graphic design on a church staff, and in my other hobby life restore vintage cast iron cookware.
I know the value of a form, and also value the tremendous time it takes to manage a great site. I was directed through you tube mentioning this as a good resource and even better group of people.
I have a few systems set up including my Denon powered surround in my living room. I recently picked up a Goldstar GST-1000. Those that don't know, LG used to be called Goldstar until they needed a better reputation and changed it to LG (Lucky Goldstar). After living in Korea, I have a couple reasons to love this otherwise cheaper branded stereo tuner. The amp needs help and I thought, if I can restore cast iron. Then perhaps I can get this one working.
