Help with setting up our listening space.

Need a little help in setting up our living room for listening to music based on what components and space I have.(duh right) Thanks in advance!

Mcs 3865 integrated amp
Yamaha ns 690's
Ads L780's

Curious where you fellas would place what speaks where? The klh towers will be out of rotation but not sure I want to see the ads's come off a stand due to one of my two ruffians. Thoughts?

The main seating position is across from the TV. Orient the speakers that way too. Have the tweeters at ear level if you can & something that absorbs sound (curtains?) behind you. Screw with it, you'll find the best compromise for your situation. These are fun problems to have.

Thanks Bob.It is fun, but I am limited on what I can do with the room. I am correct to assume I want the best sounding speakers in front of the couch? Wife has the day off tomorrow and this is our project. Fun!

If you sit on the couch to listen, the speakers should be across fm you. Maybe I'm not understanding the room layout......
In no case should speakers play into the couch but I'm sure you knew that. The sound should have an unobstructed path to your ears.
