Most likely due to the 80 bots crawling the site working to index it after us being offline. The heavier load on the server can slow things down.

You can block those bots WARDS by making the bases MEMBERS ONLY,then you can only read threads IF YOUR LOGGED IN.. (And most bots thankfully cannot)


www.pre-cert.co.uk/forum (VBB) has it that way (Logged in to read all but the first base)
