I'd thought to sign up instead of only lurking

Hi everybody. In searching the www for (vintage) audio Audiokarma pops up quite often. So I decided to sign up, because only 'lurking' here is interesting, exchanging knowledge and experience is nicer. I am not a real 'audiophile' though I like to get me a nice hifi set, and sound, with an affordable vintage set. And I think at this forum there is place for everybody's questions and gear. That's nice.

I'm from Holland, so forgive me if my english is funny sometimes.

Currently I own 2 sets, one Harman Kardon A402 and T403 amp and tuner, and one set Harman kardon 430 receiver, both driving a pair of Mission 701 speakers.

Both are '70's Harman Kardon Twin Power series. dual mono in one package.

I am very pleased with their performance and their sound. Tuners and tuner stages are very nice. Digital music I use to play in very good quality, via a Roland Rubix 24 . Amazing solution. Sounds absolutely nice!!

What is missing is a TT. (cd player I have) So searching for one, but that might be an other topic.

7 years ago this guy was right. On this forum:

"Harman/Kardon A-402 ,the nicest 40w/ch ive heard in a SS
Flexible preamp and well designed power amp section
But it should have been shipped with a wood sleve with the name Citation on the front."
