I'm Pretty Sure This Will Buff Out OK...

The scary thing is, that with time and effort, you could probably pull enough parts off of that "scrap" to recoup your $140. I have "scrapped out" some beat-up gear for salvageable parts and was really surprised at the total value of that "junk".

I have a Pioneer PL-7 that's probably worth $30 whole (wobbly spindle, tonearm has play) and at least $70+ in parts if I take everything apart and wait for buyers. Good feet, $25. Good platter, $15-20, Good counterweight $15, Good clean chassis pan $20 etc.
