I won't be able to share in the after glow of the fest. Nearly as much as I'd like.

Work is shipping me out for the next 6 weeks. I'll be home on the weekends, my son's wedding is May 7th, the time I will have, well you get the idea.

Just wanted to say I had a blast at the fest. It couldn't have been better :thmbsp:

Got to spend sometime with my AK buds and that was time well spent. I enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you
You guys and gals are the best :thmbsp:

I'd love nothing more than sit here and share all the fun we had.

But I have to go

    Warmest Regards
    Army :)

While we all love hanging here, we all have times when "life" is on the front burner, so we understand. Besides, family ALWAYS comes first and jobs often dictate what we do. It's the downside for getting the paycheck. Geez, they pay you, want you to show up and then do stuff. It's a cruel world. :D

Scott, it was great meeting you this weekend.

Luther, how dare you display rational adult thought on this forum. You should be ashamed of yourself.

toze, don't misunderstand, I didn't say the LAST beer, just A beer. I owe him one, anyway, and all I had was some Coors.

Army, our local microbrewery just won 3 gold medals in national competition, for their blonde and amber lagers. Later this year, they will go up against the world's finest. Walkerville Brewery is expected to do well. That is what I had hoped to have on Sunday, but, the only problem with a micro brewery is that they don't seem to be able to keep it in the store. Some nonsense about only brewing in small quantities! Next time.

    Hi Gang

Got a couple of seconds before I have to blast off again today. Works keeping me local ( but nowhere near a puter)for the rest of this week and not sure about next. Then the schedule stinks, out of state for 5 weeks. :sigh:

When I can catch my breathe a little, we will definitely have a mini fest at my place this summer, BBQ sounds great :thmbsp: Anybody thats close enough to drive will be welcome

    Grump some goes here

LV we need to get together at next years fest for sure, with our combined luck, we'll win all the goodies :D

Toze I have a BIG dog at home :lmao:

Shelby we'll see, maybe if the fest is close who knows I might just bring the Big G :scratch2:

Well I'm outta time, it was a great time last weekend. Definitely count me for next year :thmbsp:

    Cheers

Army, BBQ at your house? I'll bring the beer. Real beer, this time. Stuff that makes you want to savour every drop. well, me, anyway. I understand and agree with Grumpy, although I think I jumped the queue on him. I didn't need face time to call you Friend. Take care, my friend, and be sure to enjoy your son's wedding. About 8 p.m., May 7th, I will raise a glass, and toast the bride and groom, wish them every happiness, and maybe a little respite for you. Stay safe, and hurry back to all your buds.

Everybody mark that day on your calendar. May 7th, toast the happy couple.

    Hi Scott,

Sorry to hear about your new schedule - I know all too well what such periods can be like!

I'm so glad that I finally got to meet you at the show. I had a blast, and am hoping that we can hook up again at next year's AK-Fest!

    Cheers,
    Brian
