Just picked up this pair from CL . Wanted $20 got them for $10. Cabs in very good shape. grills mint. Both woofers need surrounds. Both tweeters fine. One mid works one not working, no visable break in the wires. hope its the xover. Also one of the woofers has black "accuplase" around the center and the other has it on the hole cone.??? any ideas??? Happy memorial day weekend.

Could be the tinsel leads on the midrange are broken/faulty, that's a known weak spot.
You might swap the faulty mid to the other speaker to see if it works or not.
Also check the midrange potentiometer.
Great find for the price paid.

Thanks. Funny the ad said may need a tweeter. Checked ebay and tweets where over $100 each. Both where fine. I am familiar with the mids and the tinsels. (So sorry to hear around the sound in seattle closed) Honestly, the reason I purchased these. 1 mid for $10 is a steal.
