When we were in Hawaii recently, my son fell in the pool and I jumped in after him...with my cellphone. So, I got a new Motorola SLVR, which has an iPod inside it. For flying, it has "Airplane Mode", which allows the iPod to work, while the phone doesn't. It only plays mp3s, but frankly, it sounds ok through a pair of Bose noise-cancelling headphones on the plane.
