Hey guys! I’m loving my AU-11000 more and more each day. The detail and precision coming from this beast is phenomenal. I was going to try to find another preamp for my M-4000 and L-07M’s, but I’m not anymore. This thing does a fantastic job at everything I throw at it.
Anyways, I digress. I just dropped some money and bought a pair of Monoprice Monolith M1060 planar magnetic headphones and I figured I wouldn’t need to buy a dedicated headphone amplifier because my AU-11000 has a headphone output built in. My question is, would I be able to use the AU-11000 as a suitable headphone amplifier? I love this things sound and clarity and figured the headphone output would share the same sound as the pre outs / power outs. Anyone have experience with the AU-11000’s headphone output? I don’t have the M1060’s yet, and haven’t got a decent pair of headphones to test with. Any input will be appreciated!
