I've heard it. It's not a 4319.What about the bass drivers?
I see, but the new L100 is yet to be heard. Maybe it won't be weaker than 4319, maybe it will sound even better?
You're very welcome . Much appreciated.Joe , I just want to thank you for all your knowledge and informative posts .
250's are really nice speakers. Never really caught on in the states. I listen mostly to a pair custom built by Floyd Toole for me as a wedding gift in 84. Twin 18's and compression drivers on top. Drive them with Cello Performance. 2 mono blocksI'm just a recent owner of classic JBL speakers . I first had 2 pair of mint 112's fall in my lap and enjoyed them so much . Then a pair of 250's came up for sale and I rescued them from being shipped to Vietnam . They are super smooth .
I really enjoy them .
Also my 4435 and 4450I'm just a recent owner of classic JBL speakers . I first had 2 pair of mint 112's fall in my lap and enjoyed them so much . Then a pair of 250's came up for sale and I rescued them from being shipped to Vietnam . They are super smooth .

Must see these! Twin 18's in a 250 cabinet? Wow! Which 18's did he use?250's are really nice speakers. Never really caught on in the states. Mine were supposedly owned by a former JBL employee in the State College Pa area .250's are really nice speakers. Never really caught on in the states. That is Amazing !
WOW!!! What a find!!!
I meant custom made speakers by Floyd...not custom 250's. Sorry I wasn't clear. He used JBL pro 18" drivers. Live sound low frequency drivers. They weight close to 350lbs. each. The Cello Performance 2 mono blocks make The Who sound like they are in my listening room!!!Must see these! Twin 18's in a 250 cabinet? Wow! Which 18's did he use?
But. . . . can we still see them???I meant a custom pair of JBL hand made speakers. Not custom L 250.
I would still like to see them .I meant a custom pair of JBL hand made speakers. Not custom L 250.
Is this the 70's time warp room?????I'm just a recent owner of classic JBL speakers . I first had 2 pair of mint 112's fall in my lap and enjoyed them so much . Then a pair of 250's came up for sale and I rescued them from being shipped to Vietnam . They are super smooth .

I remember those Frankenspeakers! Dude named Bruce in Ben Lomand or thereabouts made them from some innocent 240Tis and XPL series. Tried for years to sell them, as “250Ti killers,” for some insane price. (They could sound amazing for all I know, but I had zero interest. I always thought they looked poorly Photoshopped.)
