I have a pair of these that were replaced by by polk audio monitor 60 series 11 in the surrounds of my home theater. Thinking of selling these, but trying to decide which would be better in the system. All the other speakers are polk audio in the ht setup. Keep or sell?

I had a pair of Q80's and they were okaaaaayyyy......

I way prefer the KEF Reference speakers.

Apart from the coincident design - they probably dont have much going for them. I got rid of mine but kept the tweeters as spares for my 103.4 tweeters. One option you could consider is parting them on epay. The Q80's I had had a terrible bass porting design - no real bass to my ears.

I have a pair of Q90, I replaced the ferrofluid in them. I actually really like them, and plan to keep them for HT use. I really like how they don't really change in sound regardless if I sat in the sweet spot, or the very ends. I've tried them in pure direct mode, no subs, and they've got decent bass for music in my room. I've matched mine with the reference 100 center, and Q10 for surrounds.
