Kenwood vs Yamaha

Well running a kenwood av505 reciever,thinking about getting a Yamaha 5840, they are both 100 watt
Units both dts and dolby digital.would the Yamaha give me better sound.the Yamaha is a lot newer model but never listened to a Yamaha and the Kenny sounds dam good.

Personally, I think they'd be a photo finish due to age of both. Time to be subjectively objective, or is it the other way around.
