Good friend of mine picked up some PA speakers, intending to use them as PA speakers.
Opened them today to find Klipsch K55V and K77M drivers, along with a no-name 15 inch woofer and garbage Sony midrange.
I know next-to-nothing about K horns, but would like to assist in getting these working. They will be used as part of a 16 channel mixer output to PA system.
The K drivers work. I'm thinking of eliminating the Sonys, and dealing with a 3 way system. The speaker box itself seems to be well-made. Don't know about the included crossover network; no part number on it.
Any thoughts about bringing these guys back to life is appreciated. The K55s have a kluged plastic tube to plastic horns. Presumably would like to find K400 horns, or decent plastic replacements. I'm up for all suggestions.
