Yup - they are all the same type of trannie - if what I am seeing is correct.

BC154 small ones, BC117 big ones

Latest mod - standard speaker connections in place of those 2 pin DIN ones.

I'm still hearing distortion in the right channel which changes to left if I swap the power amp cards around. This suggests I do need to look at the transistors on the card, the resistors or the caps.

I had a hand full of those speaker terminals. I don't remember where I got them. But what has amazed me is how often they fit perfectly in an existing hole. Many times with factory screw holes that lined up as well. I only have two left. Not the best made but they sure saved time installing.

@Lavane yeah these ALMOST line up but the holes are just slightly out. I should be able to make it work with a bit of filing
