Speaks for itself but the Zen Drive is a limited edition with a boosted low end..the Chorus Ensemble splits the signal into two Fender Pro jr.s which is why the chorus is last instead of earlier in the chain. I use the Zen Drive only with the DM 2 alone..

The Tele and Les Paul have been described above , the Casino is nothing special but a cool guitar, the PRS is a Hollow Body Artist II ten top and ten back..and gold hardware..with a nice note from Paul on the back of the headstock..

I've got stuff all over the house, The Mando is a 12 string handmade Amati made in New York City circa 1950 and its in the process of restoration...

He built both for me.... ages ago, both satisfied a specific need and have remained since. Chris makes some killer stuff! While his basses are what he is known for, he does make a few guitars too. I know even Billy Gibbons has made it to Chris's workshop.

My 5 string has Dimarzio Ultra Jazz pickups with a Suhr preamp... the fretless has the same preamp plus a dual coil also wound by John Suhr. Both are swamp ash with maple necks and boards... the fretless has an Acrylized birdseye board. I loved that process so much, my Bee was made from ALL Acrylized woods except the Ash core. The neck, top and back are all maple dyed in the process (vacuum oven that impregnates the wood with Acrylic resin). Chris and Fred both use the same wood supplier.

Seen you over on "What are you listening to now".

yes you have! I don't often spend time on the internet and in front of my system at the same time, but I've wasted a few hours in that thread when I do :)

No new axes to report, My 'keepers' will remain for a while but I am looking at a USA built single cut Starfire III Guild at the moment... I own a 1961 Starfire IV but it lives at my parents place with a late 60s Univox 1x12" tube combo. It was my Grandfather's set up and my father (his son-in-law) asked to hang onto it because he likes to bash some chords every now and again.

I do have a new instrument in transit... my almost 3 year old daughter is OBSESSED with Lindsey Sterling so I bought her a $30 1/8th scale Violin. Should be here Saturday.

Nice collection! There's a few Les Pauls in there I wouldn't mind owning. ;) :)

One of the best and most versatile players around here runs a boutique version of a Bandmaster Tweed (the 3x10" combo) and a Sparkle Drive. Depending on the gig, he tends to have the Sparkle Drive on pretty much all the time and adjusts the effective gain by the guitar's volume pot. GREAT sound player and always gets monster tones.

I used to use an HBE Power Screamer which doesn't have the parallel clean and gain thing that the Sparkle Drive has, but you can dial in less gain than with most Tube Screamers and you could keep the bottom end cut or leave it full on the bottom. I used it a lot and the older I got, the less gain I tended to use.

There are a lot of great pedals out there but the Tube Screamer circuit is still one of the best for fattening up a scooped Fender Blackface type amp.

'67 V clone almost done, the Gibson Explorer is my main guitar, love it to death (yeah a bit dusty but I play it pretty much daily so it sits on a stand in the living room)

There've been some developments in the six-string contingent here at stately Eight Bit Manor™. It only took me four years, but I finally finished my "stage acoustic" 12-string. I do need to unstring it and shave the bridge saddle down a bit (action's a bit too high and it's hard to play very far up the neck), but it's built and has a finish on it, so that counts as "done". :D

Moving on, there are three Les Pauls of various kinds in various stages of incompletion out in the garage. If only the mythical 25 hour day were a reality... First up here's a red oak top/pine body Deluxe...

Next up is a walnut top/spanish cedar body Custom...

Finally, because I don't already have enough stuff going on, a flat top sort-of Junior made of birch plywood that will mate with an Epiphone Special neck I got for way too little money from one of Guitar Fetish's periodic we-bought-a-warehouse sales :bigok:. That pickup is the last remaining remnant of my first electric guitar, a Peavey T-15 I bought in high school and rewired. Oh yeah, and the knobs came from my stash of Mc spare parts. :D

When'll any of these projects actually show up finished? Who knows? :p

I plan on adding a locking trem in the future. I had a Japanese Strat with a Kathler in the late eighties that always stayed in tune.

Here are my two basses. First is just a standard MIM jazz I got ~2008. Second is a ~1997-1998 CIJ '62 reissue. I'm a lefty, btw
