SRV are good examples as are many blues concerts. The Pretenders Isle Of View is very good. I just don't want to hear how full of themselves they are in celebration of themselves rather than the music.

SRV Live Alive album might just be good music, no ego, but has to be the worst engineered album ever. Even the recent documentary on SRV commented on the audible quality of that particular album. Glad I listen to it prior to watching, I probably would have searched for another pressing.

The Who, "Live at Leeds" comes to mind. Maximum R&B!
