Be sure you don't click the "Home" tab, or you'll be forced onto the "https://" URL, and promptly logged out.

If you goto the HTTPS side and login there you shouldnt be logged out again.. (If you stay on that side)

Make sure to click STAY LOGGED IN....

I changed my Bookmark to https, emptied the caches, deleted the cookie for AK and checked “Stay Logged In” after restarting Safari.
I get logged out randomly from a few minutes to a few hours. This morning I have been logged out twice so far.
The 1st time was going from Page 2 to Page 3 of a Thread.
I again deleted the cookie, emptied the cache, restarted the Browser and “Stay Logged In”.
I went back to the Thread that logged me out (in “Speakers”) and was able to go to Page 3 but when I clicked on “Speakers” to go back to the sub-forum, it logged me out.

Edit - just got logged out again after clicking on “Speakers”

Edit 2 - just got logged out again after going from Page 2 to Page 3 of the same Thread in Speakers.

Same random issues here !!!

FWIW. This is becoming annoying frequently enough for me to think about doing something else with my time for a week, month, etc. until these A/K site problems are resolved..

Win. 10, IE 11, all patches/fixes current and up to date.

Never had one site issue with this forum since joining, until the change over to https..
It would not surprise me if when I try to post this, that the site logs me out !!!

Mercy Sakes Alive !

EDIT : Yep, kicked me off, like I said it probably would when I posted !!

I am always logged in, but last night I was prompted to login, why???
I have tried everything I can do on my phone, but I'm always asked to login if I close chrome or for inactivity sometimes maybe.

Houston, we have a problem!

Are any of y'all who are experiencing logout problems using a content-blocker? I installed one on each device to defeat the "back button popup" issue, and went on about my business, but after trying everything else, I switched it off on my phone and tablet. I'm not ready to declare success, but I have managed to stay logged in for longer than I have since the switch to a "secure" URL.

*Edit: No dice. Perhaps I'm no longer welcome here. I'd like to subscribe again at some point, but won't seriously consider it until I can stay logged in consistently.

To all having problems, time to consider changing to another browser perhaps? (like Chrome) - just temporarily even, just until these problems are addressed from whatever direction.

Yes, I know some people are very attached to a particular browser, and/or hate Chrome - but it may take some of the frustration out of the current situation for you.

Just sayin'

......... I'll get me coat..... :)

Chrome, Firefox, and Safari exhibit the same problem. This makes sense, since Apple mandates that iOS versions of Chrome and Firefox be built upon Safari code. Additionally, switching to the respective, Mac OS versions of Chrome and Firefox does not solve the problem, either. Folks, we have a coding issue, and it's on AK's end.

I just noticed something this morning, if I do a web search for an old thread (e.g. google search ending in "site:audiokarma.org") if I click a result, I'm not logged in on that tab whether or not I'm logged in on a different tab where I'm just browsing AK.

putting "https://" in front of the address fixes the issue.
