Yeah, I was surprised to see one pop up for sale on here right after I acquired mine, as they don't come up often. The guy I got mine from had two and was keeping the other one. He bought the second one because he loved the sound of the first one so much.

It was on the local CL for almost 2 years at I thought a good price, but much out of my reach. I ended up scoring something that he wanted, we ended up doing a trade, and now we're both happy. I've had the amp a little over a month now and I absolutely love it! It's been a very welcoming dive back into tubes, after being solid-state for at least 4 years.

So far, this amp has the most tube power that I've ever had at 75 wpc. It should be able to power a broad range of speakers if called upon. Manley amps are optimized for a 5 ohm load, which means this amp has an easy time running my M&K's at 5 ohm, 91/db. They sound great together also, an immediately noticeable upgrade in sound quality over my sand amp. I'm still using the A300's preamp section though, as I'm still searching for a dedicate pre.

Great looking amp the lay out is so clean and precise, nice to see a quality piece of engineering like that.
