Manufacturers who didn't produce a monster receiver..

Beomaster 8000, 100wpc.
Into 8 ohms, yes. They also claimed it would do 150WPC into 4 ohms. Ironically, the speakers intended to match the Beomaster 8000, the Beovox MS150s, were rated for 8 ohms, so the BM8000 couldn't give its 'full potential' into them. In the not-quite-monster receiver category, B&O also made the Beomaster 6000 at the same time, which was rated for 'only' 75WPC into 8 ohms (no 4 ohm rating given in the specs, though I'd expect it to be 100WPC or so if capable). I have a working example of one of these (as well as a not-fully-working BM8000), and while it lacks some of the BM8000's fancy features, it's still a very capable piece of gear.
