Marantz 2270 and jbl l112?

I am owner of a marantz 2270 and I am looking for the perfect match! Do you think that the jbl l112 will perform at it's best with the 2270?

The 2270 is a powerful receiver, and when new was commonly matched to 3 way JBL's of its time. That time was L100,L166, L65. So the the L112's were the next step and should be a very good match.
