    Sad to hear this,more than a few of his older posts led me in a direction that I probably would'nt have gone down were it not for the helpful insight they contained.

    Examples are my current fascination with high impedence AKG headphones (specifically the K240DF) and the NAD XLR out equipped preamps (1000s & 106).
    And IME those pieces of gear definitely acheive a very high level of SQ,albeit w/o costing a ton of dough,so I'm sure he was the kinda guy I could've hung out with.

    RIP Rex,you are already dearly missed,and my deepest condolences to those who were close to him.

    (Listening to that NAD 106 right now in his honor)
