My snowflake pictures

I will start a thread here to share the pictures I have taken in the past and will be taking this upcoming winter. I have a few cameras that do a good job with snowflakes (amongst other small things like bugs and flowers), and have found that a lot of people really appreciate my sharing them. Enjoy!!

Factoid: Contrary to folklore/tradition every snowflake is not unique, there are repeats, apparently.

Factoid: Contrary to folklore/tradition every snowflake is not unique, there are repeats, apparently.

there will be some that look similar for sure, but not repeats per se, as it is highly unlikely that any snowflake has the exact same molecule buildup as another.
