NAD C165BEE Preamplifier
Owned one for a few years. Very nice sound and good quality. Using was a pleasure other than volume control, which was too course in operation at low level. Great feature set and sound, though

Recently replaced my NAD 116 pre with a new (used) C165BEE,
C165BEE is considerable better, biggest difference is in the highs, its totally grain free, more detailed and smoother.
I use it with two 218THX's into Klipsch RF83
I love it. Makes the titanium drivers/horns of the RF83 smooth as silk.

I used mine first with an Adcom GFA5500, then with the NAD C 275BEE. Sound was good but different with the two. Solid and organic with Adcom, but fast and open with NAD.
