Ok

Here is my dedicated 2 channel just music. The speakers could probably stand to be further apart, and the rack is not the best, but for now it works and it sounds good. (Better picture to come)

7240 PE (Owned since new in 1993)
Toshiba DVD/CD player (New 2011, great deal)
Grant Fidelity B283 processor (Hooked up to the DVD/CD) (New 2011)
Technics SL1200 TT (Used 2011) (Grado Green)
Klipsch KG4's (Used Craigs List 2011, $40.00, and they are super clean)

Dave

I bet that set up makes a whole lot of music!

I love the sound! Very detailed; I saw your post in the "Build a New $1000" system thread and thought hey; that's my system (almost)!

After getting an NAD 7020pe receiver a couple of years ago; I don't think I can listen to anything but NAD anymore.

I have a few vintage Amps & receivers (Marantz, Sony, Yamaha to name a few) and occaisionally rotate them in to the main system. They don't stay long; there's something special about the NAD sound that I can't do without.

Nice system Dave!

I have a 3140 that I picked up for $10; after a little Doxit, it's like brand new. My son is using it with some Mission 732's and it sounds great.

KG4's for $40??? Nice find!

Hmmm...you guys are getting me thinking about putting my NAD 1600 pre + 208 Amp combo back into rotation... :scratch2:

NAD 3020 almost totally rebuilt (all electrolytic caps replaced, all resistors replaced with 1% metal film, new output transisitors), 4020 tuner recapped, Sony 1-bit CD Walkman, DCM KX10 Series 2. With the speakers at 97dB efficiency, it gets pretty loud in here with only 20 watts, most of the time I only have the 1 watt LED flashing.

This was befor the Brio R, I bought it on ebay for 60£ and know plays in my room system. It has a Very warm sound, LOVE IT and will never sell it!

I love the 3020 series; they are classics!

NAD Office System

I have a 1020 Series 20 and a 2150 with the Polk Monitor Series 5. This is in a corner office, but I do share one wall so I can't crank the volume unless I come in really early or stay waaaay late. I was just getting ready to post the system on the Members System thread. I'll post a couple more pictures there.

Here's a picture of my new battlestation.
Just got the desk setup today, but in it you will see the NAD 1300/2400 combo and a set of JBL 4312a's
(Sorry about the mess, as I am literally setting everything up after switching from my old desk)
