Those TLX series use the earlier TLX (titanium laminate) tweeter (possibly the 011 -or- 012).
Those are the series that was somewhere between the original j series speakers and the OP's later JBL series.
The TLX series is'nt well known here in the states so I gotta figure that it was marketed abroad and not here in the USA.
And this
j series is also not to be confused with the later
J series either (earlier series used the lower case j vs. an uppercase J).
Also note that the j series was preceded by the Radiance series of speakers.
Though the Radiance series used the older LE25 based paper cone tweeters.
The Radiance series = R82 / R103 / R123 / R133.
The j series = j216 / j320 / j325 / j350 then the jxxxA variants.
These used the 011 & 012 tweeters.
The JBL series = 62 / 82 then later on 620 / 830 / 940.
These used the newer version of the titanium laminate tweeters (TLX-1 & TLX-2)
And once they went to the pure titanium tweeters they added the t suffix.
JBL t = 52t / 62t / 82t / 620t / 830t / 940t.
These use the 022Ti tweeters,and possibly some other variants of that tweeter.
It also should be noted that the
j series was also adapted into the JBL professional "Theater Series" speakers.
These = 8325 / 8325a "foreground speakers (basically the j325 / j325a in a black vinyl cabinet vs. wood grain) and the 8330 / 8330a "surround" speakers.
It should also be noted that the 8330a uses a slightly different version of the 012 tweeter (tweeter no. 65408-LY).
I say that as these pop up NIB from time to time and seem to be a match for the 011 & 012 tweeters but they're not a perfect match.
These tweeters are smaller and are not a "drop-in" fit for the earlier 011 & 012 tweeters.
Anyhow the TLX series started out with single digit models,then double digits,then triple digits,then some got a 1 for the last number.
These = TLX-2 / TLX-6 / TLX-8
Then later on:
TLX-12 / TLX-120 / TLX-121
TLX-14 / TLX-150 / TLX-151
TLX-16 / TLX-160 / TLX-161
TLX-18 / TLX-180 / TLX-181
TLX-20 / TLX-200
TLX-50 / TLX-500
TLX-60 / TLX-600
TLX-70 / TLX-700
And throw in some odd ones like the TLX-100 / TLX-101 / TLX-103 / TLX-111 / TLX-171 / TLX-300 for good measure.
Also keep in mind that at times many of these different models "overlapped" each other.
Often both series were available simultaneously as one was being phased out & the newer models coming in to take their place.
The only place I've seen any sorta info on the TLX series is over @ HiFi Engine.

That and looking at pics of 'em on Google or such,along with finding an occasional tech sheet on a random model here-or-there.
