Hi
I am new here and wanted a place to discuss everything audio. I am retired and recently dumped my digital gear and started buying the vintage gear I dreamed of owning back when I was just a kid, but could never afford. I was a Pioneer fan back then, probable because it is what my father had. So today I have the vintage Pioneer system of my childhood ... even if I am 64 years old. I spin vinyl again after throwing away every record I owned 30 years ago.
I am one of the lucky ones. Met my wife when I was 15 years old ... she was just 13 but we have been together ever since. She has watched me go through more audio equipment that was the latest and greated only to die out and become another piece on the junk pile over all the years. So here I am back were I started nearly fifty years ago and in all that time she has said nothing about it. Like I say I am a lucky man.

Welcome and congrats on a nice accumulation of Pioneer gear there. Should provide quite a bit of enjoyment in your retirement.

Such a cool story, and cudos to you and your wife for making it so long. I guess thats another story for another board. The equipment is very nice. One thing I noticed is that it is all so very clean. Amazing.
Welcome! to AK

Great stuff love to see the vintage gear. Would love to have a marantz 2600 myself.
