Thank you. Im working on putting together my first stereo system with the help of luck, god and a Golden Golpher college student and your forum. This is what I have to far. Nothing is hooked up, it needs new parts. We will see how it turns out. It is what it will be. Found a Yamaha YP-701 turntable today. Last week up North of Duluth some nice speakers. My new friend, the U of M Golden Golpher has been great helping me out with the amps and questions along the way. You may know him here.

My dad had a pair of L-55’s. We had a party in high school and all us kids would put our heads right down near the floor speakers cause it would sound the better.

I’m going to travel out there in Dec and take care of dad’s system, then pass it onto our boy someday.
