My first new vinyl purchase for donkeys' years. Oh, don't count buying sealed copies of old Shef Labs as the same thing. Anyway, heard of her name before but not the music. Saw this RCA Japan compilation/re-release of some of her songs, liked the some of the titles so gave it a try. Wow, what a great voice and singer! Great rendition of "gentle on my mind". 
Trying to find out a bit more about her. Apparently aussie-born, success in the late 60's, spent many years in the state and came back in the late 90's.
