newbie to the forum and home stereo. I'll try not to go to far off the rails here and keep t concise. But I am looking to do whole house audio without breaking the bank. I have a relatively easy house. 3-4 zones only needed but very much want a no fuss wifi/phone controlled system. Also, have a diy smart home with echoes and related smart equipment.
Here are my questions:
1. Can I piggy back an older pioneer two-zone receiver to a newer music cast compatible two zone Yamaha to add two more zones? Or at the least use it to add devices less often used like a turntable or tv surround? If that is not clear let me know but essentially in want 4 zones, but can really only afford a two zone receiver.
2. Are there any creative solutions to getting. Whole house audio controllable with an app and or amazon echo?
Thanks in advance
