I'm looking for some great rock guitar in the vein of Sweet Jane with the long intro. Any suggestions?

That'll do, that certainly will do. Wonder why I never heard of him before. Is there an particular album you'd recommend? Less blues, more rock.

Although not exactly "newish", these guys are often overlooked, and their musicianship is superb....
(check out that bad-ass Leslie Revolving Speaker behind the Hammond B3....you don`t see those around much any more)

That`s the beauty of music....like Baskin-Robbins, it comes in 31 flavors....
Are you ready to try some Finnish Hillbilly ?

OK, as the OP, I'd like to elaborate on the intent of this thread. It's to share new (last 10-12years or so) alternative, indie, dream pop, shoe gaze, or other non commercial, rock music. Only using those labels to convey some context. Please if you're thinking of posting, take a look at the previous posts for some guidance. Thanks.
