The incrusted Diamond Crowd, took it upon themselves to condescend to the plebeians taking in the event in the Chinese Theatre. With a treasure chest full of chocolates, other assorted sweets, and your "Oscar Mayer" weiners that were to shared with the non tuxed/gowned, they took it upon themselves to feed the less fortunate in society. But no champagne!

As pour Les Oscars, mised them this year and every preceding year going back to about the time of Brando sending up his "squaw" to refuse the ****ing statue. Bravo.

Too bad they couldn't give Sufjan Stevens more than two minutes to perform his nominated song; cutting a few of those self-congratulatory montages would have worked. More camera time for Annie Clark (St. Vincent) or Moses Sumney or Chris Thile would have been nice too. Props to Stevens for losing his baseball cap and dressing up for the occasion.
